Police investigating fatal pedestrian crash in Warren County

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash Friday afternoon in Lopatcong Township.

On Aug. 16, at around 5:00 pm, officers responded to the area of Route 22 westbound and South Third Street for a report of a car that struck a pedestrian, police said.

The victim, whose identity was not released, later succumbed to their injuries at St. Luke’s Warren Campus, police said.

The accident investigation is still on going and any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Sgt. LaFord at 908-859-1212.
