Saturday project work at New Hope-Lambertville Bridge scheduled for Feb. 24 and March 2

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Construction crews are expected to be working at the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge during daytime hours Saturday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, March 2, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The work will take pace in the area of the bridge’s closed upstream vehicular lane. The bridge will remain open to Pennsylvania-bound vehicles and pedestrians, the commission said.

The New Jersey-bound traffic detour remains in effect through September, the commission said.

The Saturday work will involve installation of under-deck shielding beneath the bridge and installation of upper platform panels on the truss span closest to New Jersey on Feb. 24 and on the second truss span from the New Jersey side on March 2, the commission said.
