Sussex County Center for Lifelong Learning offers an open computer lab for county senior citizens at Sussex County Community College

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – The Center for Lifelong Learning at Sussex County Community College (SCCC), a collaboration between the Sussex County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Senior Services and Sussex County Community College, is hosting a free Open Computer Lab for Sussex County senior citizens (age 60+) this spring.

Seniors can practice their computer literacy skills in this lab with the help of a student assistant who is well versed in Microsoft Office.

This open lab is available from Jan. 29 through May 9 and will be closed for spring break from March 11 through March 17.

The open lab is located in the SCCC Library and is available on the following days and hours:

  • Mondays: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It is recommended that attendees park in the upper parking lot of the college behind Building L and walk across the pedestrian bridge that connects the Library/Science Building.
