Sussex County seeks applicants for technical school board

SPARTA TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — Sussex County officials are seeking applicants interested in serving on the Sussex County Technical School Board.

The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners invited county residents to submit resumes along with background information and a statement explaining their interest in serving as a school board member.

To qualify, applicants must be U.S. citizens and residents of the district they would represent, having lived in the district for at least three years immediately preceding appointment or election. Applicants must also be registered voters in the district and not disqualified from voting under New Jersey law.

County officials said applicants may not simultaneously serve as members of a Sussex County governing body. Candidates should also demonstrate independent judgment, professional distinction and a strong commitment to serving Sussex County Technical School.
