Table of Hope, County College of Morris spread holiday cheer with Thanksgiving food distribution event
Turkeys, Fresh Produce, Canned Goods and More for a Holiday Feast
RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Table of Hope, a leading name in community outreach and support, has partnered with County College of Morris (CCM) for the fourth year with a holiday food distribution event to make this Thanksgiving a meal to remember.
This charitable event aims to serve Morris County families in need by distributing turkeys and all the fixings including fresh produce and canned goods on Friday, Nov. 17, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at CCM.
Recipients will remain in their car at this drive-through event while volunteers place boxes and bags into each trunk. CCM’s Public Safety team, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and Parsippany Office of Emergency Management will be on-hand to ensure a safe and efficient distribution process in Parking Lot 1 on the college’s campus, 214 Center Grove Road, in Randolph Township.
Thanksgiving is a time to come together and express gratitude for the blessings in our lives. However, for some families, the holiday season can be challenging, particularly when it comes to putting a nourishing meal on the table. Table of Hope, part of the Spring Street Community Development Corporation, and CCM recognize this need and want to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity during the holiday season.
“This annual gathering embodies the spirit of Thanksgiving, which is about coming together and supporting one another,” said Dr. Anthony J. Iacono, President of CCM. “Our commitment to our community is a fundamental part of our culture and we are proud to continue to partner with Table of Hope and help those in need. This is the fourth holiday distribution, and we thank the many local, county and state organizations who are also donating their time and support.”
Partnering at this year’s Thanksgiving distribution are Alstede Farms, the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office. Together, we can make a significant impact in ensuring that no one In Morris County goes without a Thanksgiving meal this year.

A pre-registration link is available at www.springstreetcdc.org to ensure each car receives one Thanksgiving meal kit and there are enough meals for all, but registration is not required. For the safety of all involved, walkers cannot be accommodated at this drive-through event.
