The Arc of Warren County and Abilities of Northwest Jersey join forces to bring speaker Ben Hartranft, known as Benergy, to Warren Hills HS for Autism Acceptance Month on April 10

Speaker will Discuss How Inclusion and Kindness Shaped Ben’s Life

WASHINGTON, NJ (Warren County) – Autism self-advocate, speaker, author, and educator Ben Hartranft, also known as Benergy, will share a motivational presentation on the effects autism has on individuals and their families at the Warren Hills High School Auditorium at 6 p.m. on April 10, 2025.

Admission is free, and registration is available at arcwarren.org/register.

Ben’s parents and brother will also participate in sharing their personal story.

This program is hosted by event sponsors Greenwich Autism Alliance Foundation, The Arc of Warren County, Abilities of Northwest Jersey, Inc., and Warren Hills High School.

Ben was diagnosed with autism at the age of two, knowing only 20 words. He has exceeded all expectations and continues to be strengthened by his faith. His journey began when he started raising money for the Eagles Autism Challenge. After a few years of fundraising, he was invited to be a guest on The Ellen Show to promote awareness and raise funds for research. Ben now shares his story at schools, businesses, and organizations. The Warren Hills community and beyond are fortunate to have the opportunity to experience his inspiring presentation. His goal is to show that one kind person can change the world. “Go out and be the one!”

“This event focuses on how inclusion and kindness shaped my life,” says Ben Hartranft. “My goal is to give hope to those who seek to help others. Having autism is not a bad thing. It doesn’t define who we are. Everyone is unique and special.”
