The Dead Don’t Die: Haunted Red Mill attraction to open on Friday the 13th in Clinton

CLINTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) — The Red Mill Museum Village in Clinton has announced the beginning of the haunting season with “The Dead Don’t Die!,” this year’s Halloween event and largest fundraiser of the year.

“The Dead Don’t Die!” ominously kicks off its 6-night run on Friday the 13th this year. The Haunted Red Mill will be “live” on Friday, Oct. 13, Saturday, Oct. 14; Friday, Oct. 20, Saturday, Oct. 21; Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28. Ticket booth hours are 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The event opens at approximately 7:15 p.m.. Visitors must have a ticket and be in the cue no later than 10:00 p.m. to be admitted.

“The Dead Don’t Die at the Haunted Red Mill,” saidAmy DeVita, Interim Director of the Red Mill Museum Village. “Instead, they rise up to become the undead that terrorize and strike fear into our guests!”

“Don’t miss out on the Halloween event of the year. The Haunted Red Mill, is one of New Jersey’s top-rated Halloween Scare Attractions,” said Daniel Shea, Board of Trustees Vice President.  “Back, by popular demand, we are offering Regular and Speed/Express Pass ticket options.”

The Haunted Red Mill has become a frightening Halloween tradition, attracting visitors from near and far. “This year marks 32 Years of Fears,” said Ray Bindus, Trustee (and unofficial Haunted Foreman).

“It’s an amazing feat, but In just a few weeks our team of volunteers transform this historic property into a ghoulish world overrun by zombies, killer clowns, and many other horrifying creatures.  Visitors get lost in mazes, flee through trails, and take the most agonizingly slow hayride along the river before wandering into allegedly the most haunted building in Clinton, with over 200 years of haunted history,” Bindus said.

Tickets can be purchased online now or at the ticket booth each night of the event. For tickets and more information about this event, the Haunted Red Mill’s kid-friendly Happy Haunts, its Lights On!
