Travel restrictions this week for I-78 roadway rehabilitation project in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – The following travel restrictions are scheduled for a roadway rehabilitations and security improvement project along the Commission-controlled portion of I-78 in Phillipsburg, Alpha Borough and Pohatcong Township this week.

I-78 eastbound from the Pennsylvania side of the I-78 Toll Bridge and continuing a mile or so into New Jersey to a mile — single travel lane (two of three lanes closed) for overnight milling and paving work:

    • 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18;
    • 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, to 5:00 a.m. Friday, July 19;
    • 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, to 5:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20.

I-78 westbound span of the I-78 Toll Bridge from milepost 0.8 in New Jersey to milepost 76.6 in Pennsylvania — two travel lanes (one of three lanes closed) for electrical conduit and junction box installation work:

    • 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, to Friday, July 19.
