Whippany Park High School Theatre presents Almost, Maine

Tickets on Sale Starting October 21, 2024, online and at the School Box Office

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Whippany Park High School Theatre presents Almost, Maine, a production based on the book by John Cariani that explores love, loss, and a little bit of magic in a remote, mythical town that’s so far north it almost doesn’t exist.

There will be three showings on Nov. 1 and 2, at the Whippany Park High School Theatre located at 165 Whippany Road, in Whippany, NJ 07981.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So, it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.

Run time is approximately 2 hours, including one intermission. Show times are 7:00 p.m. each night with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Ticket prices are $12 for general admission and $10 for senior citizens, students and staff of Whippany Park High School. Tickets can be purchased starting Oct. 21 at https://wphs.ticketleap.com/almostmaine/ or during the following box office hours in the main lobby of WPHS:
