Four accused in Hunterdon County burglary ring investigation
READINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Four people have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries that spanned multiple Hunterdon County communities over the past year, authorities announced Monday.
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson and Readington Township Police Chief Steven Rindock said the arrests followed a joint investigation launched in November 2025 by the Prosecutor’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit and Readington police.
Antonios D. Siliverdis, 45, of Franklin Township (Hunterdon County); Gavin R. Mitchell, 26, of Frenchtown; Gabriel C. Tullo-McVicar, 27, of Glen Gardner; and Emily F. Cerullo, 25, also of Glen Gardner, face a range of charges including burglary, theft of movable property, conspiracy to commit burglary, and unlawful possession of firearms.
Investigators executed search warrants at the defendants’ residences, where they recovered a double-barreled sawed-off shotgun, a Marlin/Glenfield .22-caliber rifle with a defaced serial number, four Sig Sauer large-capacity 9mm magazines, a Beretta shotgun, a pellet gun, compound and longbows, ammunition, and numerous stolen items. Authorities said the stolen property included gold and sterling silver bars, antique jewelry, silver flatware, ATVs, hunting equipment, sports memorabilia, power tools, coins, vehicle titles and Native American artifacts.
Mitchell was charged in connection with an April 2024 burglary and now faces counts including second-degree theft, trafficking in stolen property, criminal mischief and third-degree theft. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 17 before Superior Court Judge Christopher J. Garrenger and is represented by attorney Gregory R. Mueller.
Siliverdis faces charges including receiving stolen property, burglary, theft, certain persons not to possess firearms, and certain persons not to possess ammunition. He is due in court Dec. 1 and is represented by attorney Yoana Yakova.
Tullo-McVicar was charged with unlawfully possessing four handguns, 10 rifles or shotguns, two spring pistols and a sawed-off shotgun, along with receiving stolen property and possessing a defaced firearm, hollow-point ammunition and a large-capacity magazine. He is being held at the Warren County Jail and is scheduled to appear Dec. 8. Attorney James R. Wronko is representing him.
Cerullo was charged with third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary. She is expected to appear Dec. 1 and is represented by attorney Herminia Moreira.
Senior Assistant Prosecutor Tangerla Thomas is prosecuting the case. The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey State Police Kingwood Station, Lebanon Township police, Delaware Township police and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation.
Prosecutors reminded the public that second-degree crimes carry potential prison terms of five to 10 years and fines up to $150,000; third-degree crimes carry three to five years and fines up to $15,000; and fourth-degree crimes carry up to 18 months in prison and fines up to $10,000.
