Antique vehicle damaged in Sussex County crash; three people evaluated at scene

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – An antique vehicle was damaged in a crash in Frankford Township, where three people were evaluated at the scene by emergency responders Sunday afternoon.

On Oct. 13, at 4:41 p.m., the Franklin Township Fire Department was dispatched to Route 206 and Broad Street for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, firefighters found members of the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad already evaluating the three patients involved in the incident, according to a post on the Frankford Township Fire Department’s Facebook page.

Emergency responders quickly assessed the scene, where they also discovered a fluid spill from one of the vehicles, officials said.

The three individuals refused medical assistance on-site. All emergency units cleared the scene in less than half an hour, authorities said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
