Car stolen, attempted theft reported in Tewksbury Township

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A car was stolen and an attempted vehicle theft was reported this week in Tewksbury Township, police said.

Between Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, 8, a vehicle was stolen from the Pottersville section of the township and an attempted theft of a vehicle occurred in the lower Fairmount area, police said.

According to police, there has been an increase in vehicle thefts and burglaries in the surrounding towns and counties.

Police remind residents to be vigilant, lock your cars, remove the keys and key fobs, and hide your valuables. If you see something suspicious, please call 911.
