‘Deck the House’ holiday contest planned in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Residents in Hackettstown are gearing up for some friendly competition.

“Deck the House,” is a holiday contest sponsored by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District.

The “Deck the House” sections will be Willow Grove, Centenary area homes, West Valley View Ave, Main Street, Kenwood, College View, East Prospect, and the historical district.

Decoration will need to be displayed by December 10 and judging will take place the week of December 11.

To register, email your address to socialmedia@hackettstownbid.com by Dec. 10.

Bragging rights and a lawn sign will be given to then homes which display the most original and festive outdoor holiday decorations.
