Denville man charged after police seize illegal firearms following complaints of gunfire

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Denville man is facing multiple weapons charges after police recovered several illegal firearms from his home following complaints of gunfire in a residential area, authorities said.

Benyo has been charged with prohibited weapons and devices; illegal possession of a magazine; certain persons not to have weapons; unlawful possession of a weapon; unlawful possession of a handgun; unlawful possession of a rifle; and allowing a minor access to a loaded firearm.
