Hunterdon County commissioners issue proclamation for outgoing Senior Engineer for the Department of Public Works Henry Wieczorek

HNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – The Board of Hunterdon County Commissioners Tuesday issued a formal proclamation and extended a special congratulations to Henry Wieczorek, Senior Engineer for the Department of Public Works, for his 25 years of service with the department.

Henry Wieczorek began his career with the Hunterdon County Department of Public Works on June 15, 1998, when he was hired as an Assistant Engineer. He was promoted several times throughout his career, also holding the title of Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer.

Throughout his career with the County, Mr. Wieczorek has provided field and office engineering work, that involved the design, maintenance, and construction of roads, bridges, culverts, storm drainage systems, public grounds, and traffic control systems.

Commissioner Shaun C. Van Doren, who also serves as the liaison for the Department of Public Works shared some thoughtful words, “I have known Mr. Wieczorek for the duration of my time on the Board, and I can recall numerous times when he attended meetings and was able to describe ongoing engineering projects in layman’s terms that was easy to understand. The Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners recognizes Henry for his invaluable service to the County of Hunterdon and all its residents and wish him much health and happiness in his retirement.”
