I-78 toll bridge westbound restricted to two lanes during daytime off-peak hours June 24-28

The I-78 Toll Bridge’s westbound directed is scheduled to have two open travel lanes (one of three lanes closed) 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, to Friday, June 28, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The daytime off-peak travel restriction will allow work crews to install conduit and junction boxes associated with security camera improvements now underway along at the bridge, the commission said.

Brief travel delays are possible at the bridge’s I-78 westbound approach in New Jersey. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds when approaching lane-closure taper points and exercise caution traveling through active work zones, the commission said.

Schedule is subject to change dues to weather, emergencies, etc., the commission said.
