Kean applauds passage of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) Friday applauded the bipartisan passage of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act for FY24 that will bring nearly $3,159,255 in Community Project Funding to New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.
This legislation contains the remaining six appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2024:
- Defense

- Legislative Branch
- State and Foreign Operations
The appropriations bill passed today will bring a total of $3,159,255 from Community Project Funding requested by Congressman Kean to NJ-07, in addition to the $22 million secured in the Consolidated Appropriations Act for FY24.
This bill also includes a $27 billion increase over the FY23 enacted defense funding level, towards critical national security efforts, including countering the People’s Republic of China, increasing counternarcotics efforts, and investing in quality-of-life initiatives for service members and their families.
“This vote wraps up a very successful Fiscal Year 2024 for New Jersey’s 7th District,” Kean said. “Over $25 million for important community projects is that much closer to reaching our towns, and I am proud of the fight we have led through the House.”
