Large amount of jewelry stolen in Morris County home burglary

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – Parsippany-Troy Hills police are investigating a home burglary in the township in which a large amount of jewelry was stolen.

The burglary occurred on Wednesday, March 27 at a residence on Hennion Drive between 7:30 p.m. and 10:25 p.m., police said.

The unknown suspect(s) broke into the home through a first-floor patio door and stole a 3-foot Oakwood jewelry chest containing a large amount of jewelry, police said.

During the officers’ initial investigation, it was determined that an unknown suspicious vehicle was observed driving up Hennion Drive and parked on DeHart Street at around 7:45 p.m. No suspect or vehicle description could be obtained at this time and the incident is currently under investigation, police said.
