Man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – A Pennsylvania man is accused of sexually assaulted two girls in Warren County, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

In July of 2020, Victim#1 reported to law enforcement that she was sexually abused by Andrew Lissitz, 51, of East Stroudsburg when she was 6-years-old. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that on two separate occasions, he had access to the child and engaged her in various sexual acts, authorities said.

In September of 2021, Victim#2 reported to law enforcement that she had been sexually abused by Lissitz when she was approximately 7-years-old. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that on at least one occasion, he had access to the child and engaged her in various sexual acts, authorities said.

In relation to Victim# 1, Lissitz was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

In relation to Victim #2, Lissitz was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Lissitz remains lodged in Warren County Jail pending his first court appearance.

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit, the Blairstown Police Department and the Newton Police Department assisted in the investigation.
