Morris County house fire ruled not suspicious; no injuries reported

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A structure fire reported Wednesday night at a home on Washington Valley Road in Randolph Township was deemed not suspicious, though the cause remains under investigation, according to police.

Detective Lt. Keith Donovan said the Randolph Township Police Department responded to a reported structure fire at 262 Washington Valley Road at about 9:32 p.m. The fire was brought under control in about an hour, Donovan said.

No injuries were reported, police said. Fire officials determined the blaze was not suspicious at this time, but the investigation remains ongoing.
