Mosquito spraying set for Monday in 3 Morris County towns

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Montville Township, Lincoln Park Borough, and Mount Arlington Borough Monday morning.

Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, weather permitting, the commission said.

The following areas are scheduled to be treated:

  • Montville Township: Rachel Terrace (Rachel Gardens), Pine Brook Road (Deer Run Golf Course)
  • Lincoln Park Borough: Gettysburg Way, Robertson Way, Toms Point
  • Mount Arlington Borough: Rogerene Way (Lake Rogerene)

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807

The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Montville Township, and Lincoln Park Borough Monday night.

Spraying is scheduled to take place from 9 to 11:30 p.m. on Monday, June 9, weather permitting, the commission said.

The following areas are scheduled to be treated:

  • Lincoln Park Borough: Two Bridges Road, Pine Brook Road, Gettysburg Way, Robertson Way, Toms Point, Lincoln Blvd, Mercer St, Dubrow St, Bloom St, Lake St, Alexander St, Riveredge Rd, Oak St, Sycamore Ave (Pequannock River Park)
  • Montville Township: Hook Mountain Road, Two Bridges Road, Peace Valley Road, Pine Brook Road, Weldon Place, Nicholas St, Beverly Dr, Willard Ln, Longview, Midvale Ave, Hook Mountain Road, Rachel Terrace

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B
