Pick-6 jackpot worth $30M split by 2 tickets sold in Morris and Monmouth Counties

NEW JERSEY – New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey is excited to announce the two newest multi-millionaires in Monmouth and Morris Counties.

Both tickets matched all six numbers drawn for the Thursday, March 28, Pick-6 with Double Play drawing. The winning tickets can each claim half of the estimated $30,000,000 annuity jackpot.

The winning tickets were sold at the Quick Chek store #162 at 1435 Route 23 South, Butler in Morris County and at the Wawa #910 at 909 Highway 33, Freehold in Monmouth County.

The $30 million jackpot was the fourth largest jackpot in game’s 44 year history.

“New Jersey is thrilled to celebrate our newest millionaires. I think it is safe to say that we are on a winning streak. It all started last Saturday, March 23, when we had two Fast Play progressive jackpots that were won on the same day, both in Essex County at different times and retailers. Then on Tuesday, March 27 we celebrated the largest win in New Jersey lottery history with the $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot. Then last night two players split the Pick-6 jackpot for $15 million each. Last night was capped off with a $714,431 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot also being hit. All of this proves that we have a jackpot for every dream and of course, anything can happen in Jersey! I cannot wait to see what happens next,” said Carey.

The winning numbers for the Thursday, March 28, drawing were: 13, 27, 32, 36, 37, and 43. The jackpot will reset to $2 million for the next drawing that will be held on Monday, April 1.

Double Play Results

Players are able to add Double Play® for an extra $1.00 providing a chance to win up to $250,000 in cash. The Double Play drawing results for the Thursday, March 28, drawing were: 01, 04, 09, 37, 41, and 44.

Pick-6 Lotto was introduced in 1980 with an added advantage – a grand prize bonus drawing with cash prizes up to $100,000. The record jackpot of $48.9 million won in Clifton in 2002. The latest iteration of the game started in April 2022 and now offers XTRA as a standard feature and includes the option of Double Play – two drawings held back-to-back for a chance at bonus prizes.
