Powerball tickets worth $50K sold in Morris and Somerset Counties

NEW JERSEY – One California Lottery player won the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot from the Wednesday, July 19, drawing. This was the third largest Powerball jackpot and the seventh largest U.S. lottery jackpot in history.

The cash value is $558 million. Two New Jersey Lottery tickets matched five of the five white balls drawn winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Bergen County: Metro Liquor, 100 Broadway, Elmwood Park; and,
  • Essex County: Galaxy Liquors, 410-412 Central Ave., Orange.

In addition to the second-tier prize winners, 12 New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $100,000.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

$100,000:

  • Hudson County: H&H Discount Liquors, 3505 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City.

$50,000:

  • Bergen County: 7-Eleven #18390, 300 Hackensack St., Wood Ridge;
  • Burlington County: Krauszer’s Food Mart, 225 Pavillion Ave., Riverside;
  • Camden County: Food Plus, 201 West Clements Bridge Rd., Runnemede;
  • Hudson County: Quick Chek #92, 238 Kearny Ave., Kearny;
  • Middlesex County: 7-Eleven #34531, 1299 Roosevelt Ave., Carteret;
  • Middlesex County: Shoprite of Perth Amboy, 365 Convery Blvd. Suite 2, Perth Amboy;
  • Morris County: BJ’s Wholesale Club #48, 1 Howard Blvd., Ledgewood;
  • Ocean County: 7-Eleven #27497, 701 Route 88, Point Pleasant;
  • Passaic County: Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Turnpike, Hewitt;
  • Passaic County: USA Wine Traders Club, 207 Ringwood Ave., Wanaque; and,
  • Somerset County: Royal Farms #299, 1 North Main St., Manville.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 19, drawing were: 07, 10, 11, 13, and 24. The Red Power Ball number was 24. The Power Play was 2X.

There were 225,345 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $1,193,509 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, July 22, at 10:59 p.m.
