Hunterdon County offers Museum Pass Program
“Commissioner Director Kuhl Highlights Unique Offering”
HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Hunterdon County Commissioner Director Jeff Kuhl, who also serves as the liaison to the Library Commission, has shared information about the Museum Pass program, a service provided by the Hunterdon County Library System (HCLS), funded in part by the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library (FoHCL), that enables library patrons to visit several museums across the region.
All HCLS resident cardholders, in good standing, are eligible to check out a museum pass and there is no charge to reserve a pass.
“The Museum Pass is a wonderful program offered by our library, that is generously funded by the Friends of Hunterdon County Library. It allows residents to explore museums and attractions for cultural enrichment, education, and fun and a great opportunity for families to access the various cultural institutions nearby at a free or discounted rate,” Kuhl said.
Most institutions require timed entry reservations. Use the library website to place your museum pass reservations at https://hclibrary.us/services/museum, and then follow the instructions in the confirmation email to place the timed entry reservations.
Physical passes returned late will accrue a fine of $10/day. Lost passes will result in a $25 replacement fee applied to the library account used to place the reservation.
