Hunterdon County seeks forfeiture of property in alleged OnlyFans romance scam case

FLEMINGTON, N.J. — The State of New Jersey has filed a verified civil forfeiture complaint in Hunterdon County Superior Court seeking forfeiture of vehicles, electronic devices and financial accounts connected to an alleged OnlyFans romance scam.

The complaint, filed June 22, lists Aaron Falvo as an interested party in the civil action. The state is seeking forfeiture of an Affinity Credit Union Cash Back Plus account valued at $3,613.41 as of May 27; a Vanguard Individual Brokerage account valued at $227,501.99 as of May 27; an Apple MacBook; an Apple iPad; a 2024 BMW S1000 motorcycle; a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz motorcycle; a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado; a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle; a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle; and a 2004 Suzuki DRZ motorcycle.

According to the complaint, the civil in rem action was brought under New Jersey forfeiture law and alleges criminal activity including theft by deception, financial facilitation of criminal activity and falsifying or tampering with records.

The complaint alleges that a victim, identified as A.C., reported a possible online fraud to the Raritan Township Police Department on Dec. 1, 2025. A.C. told police she began an online relationship with Falvo toward the end of 2024 and gave him money for various purposes over the course of the relationship.

According to the complaint, A.C. began speaking with Falvo on OnlyFans in November 2024. The complaint alleges the relationship initially involved payment for sexual content before communications became more personal and intimate around December 2024 and January 2025.

The complaint alleges A.C. was led to believe she and Falvo had a future together and that she sent money for OnlyFans content and personal items she believed were an “investment” in that future.

According to the complaint, another individual later told A.C. the relationship was a scam and alleged Falvo operated an organization designed to begin transactional relationships with women on OnlyFans and then manipulate them into believing they were in romantic relationships.

The complaint states that search warrants were approved for OnlyFans and Discord on Jan. 14. It also alleges records from financial institutions confirmed wire transfers from A.C. to Falvo, including $11,000 for dental work, $8,000 for a “nightly goal,” $51,000 for a pickup truck, $40,000 to support a move to a legitimate social media career and a future together, and $6,000 for a motorcycle.

The complaint also alleges other victims were discovered during the investigation.

A search warrant was approved March 19 and executed March 26 at Falvo’s residence on Main Street South in Flemington, according to the complaint. Authorities seized the Apple MacBook, Apple iPad, 2024 BMW S1000 motorcycle, 2014 Chevrolet Cruz motorcycle, 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 2018 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and 2004 Suzuki DRZ motorcycle. The complaint states the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was turned over to police on April 23.

Falvo was charged with theft by deception, financial facilitation of criminal activity and falsifying or tampering with records, according to the complaint.

A parallel criminal case is pending in Hunterdon County Superior Court, according to the filing.

The complaint seeks to extinguish any property rights, title and interest Falvo may have in the listed property and asks the court to confirm forfeiture to the State of New Jersey.

The allegations are contained in a civil forfeiture complaint. The filing is not a finding of guilt.
