Mount Olive Township police launches second community survey to address resident concerns

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Mount Olive Township Police Department has announce the launch of its second community survey.

This initiative follows the success of the department’s first survey in 2022, which provided invaluable insights into the concerns and priorities of local residents, police said.

The 2022 survey highlighted traffic issues as a major concern within the community. In response, the department created a dedicated Traffic Division focused on key areas such as traffic enforcement, conducting traffic studies, and applying for grants to improve road safety, police said.

Building on this success, the department is seeking feedback once again to better understand community sentiment and identify areas for further improvement, police said.

The department hopes for an even greater response rate this time, aiming to gather a comprehensive understanding of the services it provides and how they can be enhanced, police said.

“We thank the community for its continued support and look forward to working together to make Mount Olive a safer and more vibrant place to live,” police said.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the survey, which can be accessed at www.mountolivetwpnj.org/police-department.
