Hope Fire Department to host second annual Polar Plunge fundraiser on Feb. 15

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Hope Volunteer Fire Department has announced its second annual Polar Plunge, scheduled for Saturday, February 15, at Swayze Mill Park in Hope Township. This chilly tradition aims to raise funds for the fire department while offering participants a unique and exhilarating experience.

The event will begin with registration at 9:00 a.m., with the plunge itself scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. Participants can join in the icy waters for a fee of $25. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.

For those who arrive early, there will be a limited supply of t-shirts available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests can also enjoy hot drinks and snacks for sale to help stay warm after the plunge, and a bonfire will be lit for added warmth and atmosphere.

This event promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire community while supporting a good cause – the Hope Volunteer Fire Department.
